treat me like your mother ή πώς να περιποιηθείς τα αγαπημένα σου ρούχα για να σε συνοδεύουν για πολύ καιρό ...

οκ δεν γίνεται να το κάνεις σε όλα σου τα ρούχα αλλά τουλάχιστον για αυτά που είναι αγαπημένα , αξίζει τον κόπο...

ΦΥΣΙΚΑ ΥΦΑΣΜΑΤΑ

Καταρχήν όσο λιγότερο γυαλιστερό και ελαστικό είναι ένα ύφασμα τόσο πιο φυσικό και καλής ποιότητας θεωρείται. Τα βαμβακερά υφάσματα , αν είναι χρωματιστά , πρέπει την πρώτη φορά να πλυθούν ξεχωριστά από τα υπόλοιπα , αποφεύγοντας τις υψηλές θερμοκρασίες για να μην "μπούνε". Στο σίδερο είναι ανθεκτικά.

Τα λινά , πρέπει να πλένονται σε χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες , χωρίς στίψιμο καθώς είναι ανθεκτικά στο σίδερο και είναι καλύτερο να μην τα τσαλακώνουμε έξτρα με το πλύσιμο...

Τα μεταξωτά δεν αντέχουν στις ψηλές θερμοκρασίες , ούτε στο στίψιμο.Σιδέρωμα με ατμό σε κανονική θερμοκρασία.

ΤΕΧΝΗΤΑ ΥΦΑΣΜΑΤΑ

Τα acetate , rayon , viscose έχουν γυαλιστερή υφή και σταθερότητα στα χρώματα. Μην τα στραγγίζεις και μην τα στίβεις αν θες να αποφύγεις τις παραμορφώσεις στο σχήμα τους.

Τα polyester , nylon , lycra , είναι πολύ ανθεκτικά , έχουν σταθερότητα χρωμάτων και τσαλακώνουν ελάχιστα. Απλά πλύντα και σιδέρωσέ τα σε χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες , ξεκινώντας το σιδέρωμα με αυτά προτού ζεσταθεί πολύ το σίδερό σου.

Γενικά στο πλύσιμο καλό είναι να μην γεμίζουμε πολύ το πλυντήριο και αν υπάρχει η αντίστοιχη επιλογή να ρυθμίζουμε τις στροφές στις 600-800 και όχι στο μάξιμουμ.Εναλλακτικά διάλεξε το πρόγραμμα για ευαίσθητα , το οποίο δεν ταλαιπωρεί τα ρούχα με πάρα πολλές στροφές .
Στο άπλωμα έχει πολύ σημασία να απλώνουμε τα ρούχα έτσι ώστε να μην κρέμονται δυσανάλογα γιατί έτσι θα ξεχειλώνουν και αυτό πολλές φορές είναι μόνιμο...Προτιμήστε την σκιά και όχι την άμεση έκθεση στον ήλιο.Τα θέλουμε ζωντανά τα χρωματάκια τους έτσι δεν είναι?

A shelfish love that lasts...

a love that lasts since 2007...A little bit of shelfish love though , since I design first of all for myself...I want to wear everything I have dreamed of and fortunately so do many other girls too... my first collection was made especially for the conceptual design store formika at psyrri athens.Every piece was unique.

Then " travel girl" was my first complete collection..A girl that travels , seeking fate...

 an inspiration from an english childhood play through war and a photoshooting in london came in winter 2008.

"Brain plasticity"
had a sexy and artistic touch too  , along with the artist Paris Dimitriou who made the conceptual faces for the shooting which was realised in an old factory of his family...

"Grandma's secret love affair"
an ode to 40's chic ladies ,  an expression for retro lovers but not only that...

"Leatheroid love"
inspired by my favourite movie 2046 . I'm combining leather + android plus love...All this for winter 2011...can u really love ?

or killing femme fatales... an unsolved mystery of 2 serial killers...it was the summer of 2011.

Every season it feels like i am reborn with a new fresh love , new designs in my mind and the agony to make them true , the expectation to wear them for the first time...this is love for fashion.A shelfish love that lasts...

So here I am...

I was born in Athens the capital of Greece. My mother was born in Brazil and my father at Piraeus. My influences ? Many…

I have studied Economics and Business Management. Disappointed by the nature of finance sciences, which I mistakenly chose to follow, I started questioning myself what was it that I really wanted to do and  realised that it was the combination of my two favourite activities I had as a child, painting and the creation of dolls clothing …

So at the same time with my studies in finances I started taking lessons in fashion designing and jewellery creation as well as photography. My second passion following fashion is music and so I often borrow names for my clothes from song titles, band names and lyrics. At the same time I occasionally play music as a d.j at several Athenian bars…

The design of my clothes is characterized by originality, long-lastingness, range of styles and the use of unique patterns. Particularly playful and appearing only in limited numbers my creations offer a day-to-night approach with a vivid sense of humour.

I despise the “fake”, glamorous world of fashion and I prefer creating  outfits for women who have a mind of their own and an innate sense of style, who are not afraid to experiment and adopt different roles through their clothes…www.venetiaioakim.com
